Harassment Policy - Code of Conduct
GeeklyCon Code of Conduct
The Geekly Community prides itself for being open and understanding. GeeklyCon will not tolerate inappropriate behavior of any kind, including, but not limited to:
- Harassment about attire, age, disability, marital status, race or color, appearance, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, or gender identity;
- Threatening behavior with the intent to harass, annoy, alarm, abuse, torment, or embarrass another is absolutely unacceptable;
- Knowingly selling or furnishing of alcohol to minors.
Anyone who sees or feels that their experience is being compromised due to unacceptable or questionable behavior of others are encouraged to, speak with any GeeklyCon organizer, familiar, or hotel security immediately without concerns for their personal safety or repercussions. As we are guests in the city that is hosting GeeklyCon, we expect all GeeklyCon attendees to also follow the above rules during off site events.
You can also report harassment through this anonymous form.
Violation of the GeeklyCon Code of Conduct is grounds for removal from GeeklyCon without refund. Violation of the GeeklyCon Code of Conduct is also grounds for being barred from future GeeklyInc events. If unacceptable behavior continues after being removed, local authorities may be asked to pursue criminal charges.
